rock action in the country courtesy of The Redneck
Manifesto, with their new album Cut Your Heart
Off From Your
Head. The unique nine-person "psych-rock
gargantua" of The Jimmy Cake. The
melancholic mellow gold of Goodtime John. The far-out
animation genius of
D.A.D.D.Y. The Sound In A Light Year - broadcaster
Donal Dineen's moody and
resplendent mix of downtempo sounds and lucid winter scenes
from Andalucia
and Kerry. Online wizardy, CD-ROM tomfoolery and music
video animation
inspiration from the DEL 9 collective. And live
electronic sets from Formika
and Somadrone. Segueing these performances and
installations will be DJ sets
from the Wonky Allstars.
WONKY re-evaluates the modern
day live entertainment format by providing an
equal stage for both music and visual artists, and offering
exceedingly good
value to its patrons.
